AOE: "Bebek Tepi Sawah", Ubud.

Bali is always be the most favorite destination in Indonesia for international or domestic tourist. I and my friend chose it for our holiday as my girlfriend is also originally from there. Even though Bali is my girlfriend's hometown, we randomly went to some new places without observing it first. Once we decided to have a lunch at "Bebek Tepi Sawah" in Ubud. It is known for its beautiful scenery. It has a rice field decorating the place. We could walk through it because there is a way splitting it. It is really beautiful as people say.

Beautiful scenery that "Bebek Tepi Sawah" has makes its price of foods quite expensive especially for us. We didn't bring much money because we planned to travel in backpacker way. Forcefully we just ordered some beverages there. We canceled our lunch moment and chose to take some pictures there. Our hungry stomach didn't stop us enjoying the place. We never regret to visit this place. As Paul Theroux says, "Tourists don't know where they've been, Travelers don't know where they're going." I think we just applied that aphorism in this journey. Hehe.. 

AOE: Japan? I don't think so.

Do you know that Sydney has Japanese garden? Yes, I mean like garden in Japan. If you don't know, you should try to visit it when you are in Sydney. It is located in Auburn Botanic Gardens. You can take T2 train line from Central station and alight at Auburn station. Once you arrive at Auburn station, you have to take one more bus to the station near Auburn Botanic Gardens. Don't forget to tell the bus driver that you want to go to Auburn Botanic Gardens. I and my gf once told the bus driver about it. Unfortunately, he forgot to alight us to the right station and we had to walk like 1.5 km to reach the place. But, our effort was paid off by Japanese Garden's breath-taking scenery. It was feel like the real Japan. I salute the one who made and designed this perfectly. Here are some photos of the place :)

AOE: New Year's Eve in Sydney.

Spending New Year's Eve moment in Sydney is one of the most favorite itinerary that travelers usually do. That is what I and my gf did. Australian government, especially Sydney, spent so much dollars to make this great event annually. It becomes their strategy to attract overseas tourist to come to Sydney. The result is no doubt. A massive tourist waves attack Sydney every New Year's Eve. Million of people fill every point. They were willing to wait from the very early day like 24 hours before the show. They built a tent at the point they stood by. In welcoming 2015, Sydney's NYE carried "Inspire" theme with light bulb effect.

At the end of the show, we just could say 'WOW'. It was really stunning, breath-taking, or whatever. We had not ever seen firework like that. It is worth it to witness the event at least once in your lifetime. We would not regret that moment obviously even though we must walk to the nearest station to go back home after all. (it was not that near actually, it was like 2 or 3 kilometres far away).
