AOE: Bandung's new attraction of 2014.

An unknown place that has a charm and accidentally found by someone would have a value to become a new attraction there. Further it would be diffused from mouth to mouth ubiquitous and become a famous place. It has been proven by "Tebing Karaton".

Tebing Karaton was found by a local on May 2014. "Tebing" means a canyon and "Karaton" means grandeur of nature. So, it displays a nature beauty around. You can see mountains, forests, and other views. It is a gift from God.

I and my friends experienced it on August 24, 2014. We should pass through some rural roads painstakingly before we make it. Our hard work of struggling the rural roads for almost 7 km was paid by Tebing Karaton's natural beauty. A suddenly journey felt not bad after all.

Entrance fee for domestic tourist: Rp.11.000 and for international tourist: Rp.75.000
They asked me to take a pict of them so that I was gonna post it here. Hahah..
Warning to be concerned
People didn't want to waste a chance to experience this high-class view
Tebing Karaton was covered by tourist
Not only other tourist who wants to take a picture with this view, me too. LOL

Some people just ignored the warning that has been given by official
It's a real dangerous so, DON'T TRY THIS AT TEBING KARATON
5 of us got ourselves selfie !!
I've been 10 years in Bandung and had never thought it could have a place like this. I believe Bandung has some more natural-beauty-places like this. We just have to explore more about our own place because it potentially has some gifts from God that haven't been known yet. Thanks.

AOE: Beautiful temples & Merchants destruction in Hampi, India.

Namaste, here we back again to INDIA! Almost all of travelers list India to their visit-list. Once I wondered why they do that considering India is developing country which is known by its hygiene problems. All of my curiosity were answered after almost-2-months-visit there with my overseas friends in 2011. This post is about one of the most amazing places in India which is visited by travelers around the world called Hampi.

Hampi (Kannada: ಹಂಪೆ Hampe) is a village in northern Karnataka state, India. It is located within the ruins of Vijayanagara, the former capital of the Viyajanagara Empire. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hampi). Some various temples embellish it which becomes a global tourist attraction.

Sprawling Hahaha..

Had a fruit pancake which is unspeakable-delicious.

Having a travel to Hampi for its beautiful views always be an amazing experience, but we have beyond it. Surprisingly, it just took a day to experience a demolition of local merchants due to conflict between locals and India government.

Being in India was such a cannot-get-it-anywhere-experience I've ever had in my life. Its culture, lifestyle, temples, amazing views, people, transportation, and so on; are the package of the adventure that you cannot compare anywhere. Live in the field with locals could give it perfectly. Just need some knowledge about it and prepare your big heart to face all of possibilities that could happen. Let's travel to see the world! Thanks.

AOE: Floating moment at Floating Market, Lembang.

Hello everyone! How's your Ramadhan break? Did you have a good time with your family? Did you go to amazing places to enjoy your holiday? This time, I have a good recommendation for you to visit. Similar to Jayagiri, this place is not far from my hometown, Subang nor Bandung, the town currently i'm living in. This place is a man-made creation, that successfully attracts hundreds of people each days, perhaps thousands on weekend. Although it is not a worldwide-famous attractions like Burj Khalifa, Eiffel tower, Pisa tower, and so on, but here is a  place where people, especially those who are living in and around Bandung enjoy spending their time with their loved ones. . Yup, it's "The Floating Market". Been there before?

Floating Market is located exactly in the middle of the town of Lembang. The venue is on the water. Why market? because it does look like traditional market where the sellers use boats as their stalls and almost all of them cook their food on the boat. That's why it's called "Floating Market". Talking specifically about the food, It sells various type of Indonesian traditional foods, such as chicken satay, rujak, tahu gejrot, mie Jowo, and many more (you have to try by your own). Street snacks and desserts  are also available with very affordable price. Before you buy the food, you have to go to the cashier first to exchange your money with coins because they won't receive your money there. They have kinda unique system with the payment method which makes it more traditionally attractive and distinctive. So, if you want to go there, they are open for you on 09.00-16.00 (weekday) and 09.00-17.00 (weekend). I went there in 2013 with my one-and-only-girlfriend, Natya Shina Nandana to experience its unique atmosphere. We had  a really great moment to spend and definitely we couldn't resist to take some pictures due to its beautiful view.

Had a great moment after all.

Actually, this post is dedicated to celebrate our 18 months of relationship on the 3rd of August 2014, but we both forgot it completely and just realised it today. pretty funny huh?!  I hope this relationship will not JUST long lasting, but also we will have deeper and better understanding towards each other. Aameen. See you on another trip !

Ps: Thanks to Shinanandana for making this post much better
